So, this thing in Indonesia, right? This… *cazzo*… a kid gets run over by a cop car. A *ride-sharing driver*, for chrissakes. Affan Kurniawan. Twenty-one years old. Now he's *fed to the fishes*, literally. (Takes a long drag from his espresso) These protests, they’re all over the place. Jakarta, Surabaya… sounds like a goddamn opera, right? These guys are pissed. Low wages, crooked politicians… sounds familiar, huh? Like a bad episode of *my* life, only with more… *tropical fruit*. The President, this Prabowo guy, shows up at the funeral. Condolences, the whole nine yards. Probably hoping a little *sympathy schtick* will calm things down. Politicians, am I right? Always kissing ass when it's convenient. He even apologized. Apologized! Like that's gonna bring the kid back. Sounds like something out of a bad mob movie. He’s there, too. And some politicians. Like they’re gonna *solve* anything. They’re probably more interested in seeing if they can *milk* this for votes, like a bunch of… well, *you know*. Seven cops get nailed for breaking some kind of "professional code of ethics." Seven! Like that’s gonna stop anything. Probably just the fall guys, you know? Like always. Somebody’s gotta take the heat. This whole thing stinks worse than a month-old *prosciutto*. Then things get really ugly. They set fire to a council building. Three people dead. Three! That’s a lot of… *problems*. That's a whole lot of *mess*. This isn’t a protest anymore, this is a riot. They’re throwing rocks at police cars, blocking convoys… like a bunch of undisciplined… *animals*. These kids are gonna get themselves *seriously* hurt.
